The new podcasting support in iTunes 4.9 is sweet… just remember to update your ipod as well, otherwise you won’t see a “podcast” catagory on it – it wasn’t clear to me that you had to upgrade both iTunes and the iPod (they’re separate downloads, in separate sections of the website).
Now I can finally ditch iPodder – which was buggy as hell.
We’ll see how Apple decided to handle deleting old-podcasts… which nobody else seems to have quite figured out yet.

Looks like the new upgrade has made my Treo650 pretty stable… It hasn’t crashed since the upgrade, and even the bluetooth DUN is flawless now. Its very cool, but now I’m thinking it would be silly to replace it with a PPC PDA phone since it (finally) works as advertised now. I guess I’ll just pop my 2gig SD card into it and load up it up with some DivX video. [shrug]
